Kurzfassung

The aim of this project is to improve the quality of requirements documents by means of ontologies to support semantic analysis. The conceptual modelling language Object-Role Modelling (ORM) is used to build a Requirements-Meta-Model which supports precision for requirements phrasings and trace links right from the start. The aim of this project is to improve the quality of requirements documents by means of ontologies to support semantic analysis. The conceptual modelling language Object-Role Modelling (ORM) is used to build a Requirements-Meta-Model which supports precision for requirements phrasings and trace links right from the start. The phrasing quality is raised by a template based approach which also facilitates linking of domain knowledge concepts. Therefore different template systems are evaluated comparatively. In addition the consistent integration of requirements from different sources and various abstraction levels, as for example standards, generic requirements, and project specific requirements, is supported by dependency analysis. Such analysis are realized using graph technologies.

The project is a cooperation within the Networking/Partnering Initiative (NPI) of the European Space Agency (ESA) and space engineering projects are especially addressed as application domain. A central role thereby play the standardization efforts of the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS).
