Further development of auxiliary robots for reconnaissance and terrain exploration
Laufzeit: 01.01.2022 - 30.11.2024
Förderung durch: Bundesministerium der Verteidigung
Kurzfassung
The development of robots that relieve Bundeswehr soldiers on deployment is an active field. This includes robots that serve to transport baggage on long marches, as well as robots that autonomously explore the environment and conduct reconnaissance. The goal of this project's work is to improve the data analysis of robot sensors in these scenarios and to extend the state of the art. Research will be conducted in the following areas, among others: terrain classification, walkability analysis,...The development of robots that relieve Bundeswehr soldiers on deployment is an active field.
