Kurzfassung

The aim of the CONNECT project is to create through the Internet/ WWW an exciting cultural learning environment. Authors and cultural operators will experiment with new methods and styles of collaborative and open work. During the project the audience actively participates in writing a "Web novel". Everybody has the chance to influence or extend the story plot with his/her own contributions, moderated by a team of authors and cultural operators. Authors and cultural operators will experiment with new methods and styles of collaborative and open work. During the project the audience actively participates in writing a "Web novel". Everybody has the chance to influence or extend the story plot with his/her own contributions, moderated by a team of authors and cultural operators. The journey with its diverse cultural connotations provides the leading metaphor for this collaborative work in the Web.; The hyperfictional journey will "start" at the different European loca-tions of the participants. In the fictional story more and more elements of the real world (e.g. locations as e.g. real train stations) will be integrated and at the "finale" participants will meet each other during a workshop in Ireland.
