Kurzfassung
The reperative and regenerative wound healing depends inter alia on the induction of vessels. New vessels form either by sprouting from pre-existing vessels or through intussusception (IA). Within the framework of a NIH-RO1 cooperative project, the group investigated to what extent the IA is involved in the new formation of the murine lung after pneumonectomy and whether it can be influenced.
