STA 512/5-1;HE 2825/1-1 (Klinische Studie) Indication Recurrent depressive disorder, currently in remission (ICD-10 F33.4) Objectives The major goal of the study is to compare the long-term outcome of a cognitive-behavioral continuation/maintenance therapy (CBCMT) versus manualized active psychoeducation (MAPE). In both groups, patients receive additional pharmacological continuation/maintenance treatment (treatment as usual, TAU). The secondary objective is to assess predictors of stable remission or recurrence of depressive episodes. Study Design The design of the study is a parallel group design with two treatment groups (CBCMT vs. MAPE). After a two months run-in period, patients will be randomized to both treatments. Therapists will be unblinded with regard to allocation to treatments. Outcome criteria will be assessed by blinded independent raters after the eight months treatment phase and then every 3 months up to one-years follow-up. » weiterlesen» einklappen
