Objectives of the study: To compare change in marginal bone level around Brånemark
System RP Ø4.5x4.5 mm implants placed in the maxilla and
the mandible as well as record their cumulative survival rate
over time
Study design: This will be an international, open, controlled, prospective,
multi-center clinical study
Number of subjects: Maximum 144 (72 maxilla and 72 mandible)

Subject population: Healthy volunteers, at least 18 years old, with severely
resorbed jaws in need of an implant supported restoration
Components: Brånemark System® RP Ø4.5x4.5 mm implants (Extra Short
Implants)
Duration of the study: Subjects will be followed for 5 years after prosthesis insertion
