Kurzfassung

Our hypothesis is: if severe hyperhomocysteinemia causes severe myopia and even ectopia lentis, a “mild” increase of homocysteine may be a risk factor for myopia. If our theory is correct homocysteine should correlate with the degree of refractive myopia.
