Kurzfassung
In this study we aimed to profile tear fluid from 50 patients diagnosed with breast carcinoma and 50 healthy controls with the SELDI-TOF-MS technique. CM10 and WCX protein Chip surfaces were used. The identification of differently expressed proteins was performed with Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Ionisation Time of Flight (MALDI-TOF-TOF)-MS. One of the identified proteins was proline-rich protein 4 which is decreased in tear proteome of carcinoma patients.
