Kurzfassung
Chloroquine is a long known anti-inflammatory drug that has recently emerged as a potential radio- and chemosensitizing agent. There is some evidence that chloroquine re-purposing for the treatment of glioblastoma may improve clinical outcomes in patients with newly diagnosed and recurrent glioblastoma. This project addresses the molecular mechanisms underlying radiochemosensitizing effects of chloroquine in human glioma stem-like cells.
