Mutual Influence of Gut Microbiota Composition and Resilience (DRZ A7)
Laufzeit: 01.01.2017 - 31.12.2020
Kurzfassung
Our hypothesis is that resilience on one hand is affected by the microbial commensals of the host but that, on the other hand, gaining resilience might also modulate the microbiota composition. To investigate this, we modify microbiota composition within mice by using diet, antibiotics and probiotics. Animals will then be analyzed for their resilience level after chronic social defeat. In addition, we are analyzing changes in microbiota due to gained resilience in mice on standard chow.
