Prognostic and predictive relevance of MSI, CIMP and CXCR4 expression in colorectal liver metastasis (CRLM): A retrospective genetic and epigenetic analysis of 300 consecutive cases of surgically treated colorectal liver metastasis
Laufzeit: 01.01.2017 - 31.12.2019
Kurzfassung
In the actual treatment of colorectal liver metastasis the molecular pathology is up to now not accounted for. This could however help identifying patients with poor or good prognosis and improve the indication for a multimodal and interdisciplinary therapy of those patients.
The aim of the forthcoming research project is the determination of microsatellite instabilities (MSI), promotor methylation status, chemokine receptor CXCR4 and the immune cell infiltration (CD3, CD20, CD68, LCA, CD56)...In the actual treatment of colorectal liver metastasis the molecular pathology is up to now not accounted for. The aim of the forthcoming research project is the determination of microsatellite instabilities (MSI), promotor methylation status, chemokine receptor CXCR4 and the immune cell infiltration (CD3, CD20, CD68, LCA, CD56) and NGS in 300 resectable colorectal liver metastasis using stored tissue samples and the investigation of the prognostic relevance of those characteristics.
