Kurzfassung

Iodine blockage of the thyroid gland is considered in emergency situations where radioactive material is released into the environment. To support guideline development of the WHO concerning this intervention, the IMBEI is conducting a systematic literature review of specific research question on iodine blockage of the thyroid gland.
