In a prospective before-and-after interventional study we enroll patients with unmet palliative care needs according to defined trigger criteria in a 22-bed academic surgical intensive care unit. The study will also evaluate if proactive palliative care has an impact on length of stay in the ICU, hospital, and on patients’ 1-year-survival.» weiterlesen» einklappen
