As part of the innovative teaching project "Body Image Experts 2.0: Psychotherapeut:innen auf Social Media zwischen Herausforderungen und professionellem Einsatz" funded by the Gutenberg Teaching Council of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (GTC),  psychology and medical students  will create three body-positive and three body-neutral Instagram posts for an adolescent target group to promote body acceptance and satisfaction. Via a focus group survey, N = 30 8th grade students will classify and assess these posts (main objective). On an exploratory level, the secondary objectives will be the following: To assess appreciation of the body and functionality appreciation before and after viewing the posts, measured using the Body Appreciation Scale-2 (BAS-2) and the Functionality Appreciation Scale (FAS) at two time points (T1 (pre) and T2 (post)), as well as momentary body dissatisfaction, measured using the Body Image States Scale (BISS) at time points T1 (pre) and T2 (post).» weiterlesen» einklappen
