As part of the innovative teaching project "Body Image Experts 2.0: Psychotherapeut:innen auf Social Media zwischen Herausforderungen und professionellem Einsatz" funded by the Gutenberg Teaching Council of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (GTC), psychology and medical students will create three body-positive and three body-neutral Instagram posts for an adolescent target group to promote body acceptance and satisfaction. On an exploratory level, the secondary objectives will be the following: To assess body appreciation and the appreciation of body functionality before and after viewing the posts, using the Body Appreciation Scale-2 (BAS-2) and the Functionality Appreciation Scale (FAS) at two time points (T1 (pre) and T2 (post)), as well as momentary body dissatisfaction, measured using the Body Image States Scale (BISS) at time points T1 (pre) and T2 (post). » weiterlesen» einklappen
