The core curriculum is comprised of lectures, seminars, and lab courses offered via the FTN-Mainz, the IMB-Mainz and via several teaching centers in Frankfurt (MPI for Brain Research, MPI of Biophysics, the Goethe University, the Frankfurt Institute of Advanced Studies, Ernst Strüngmann Institute for Neuroscience). In addition, a comprehensive soft skills training program is being made available to the students.
