Kurzfassung

Within this project, we aim to better understand macrophage polarization in the tumor microenvironment and how it influences anti-tumor activity of T cells. We will address this questions by examining patient tumor and blood samples, and further perform a CRISPR knockout screen in macrophages to identify potential targets to influence macrophage polarization, and hence improve anticancer activity of T cells in cancer immunotherapies.
