Polarized Helium Lung Network (PheliNet)
Laufzeit: 01.01.2007 - 31.12.2010
Kurzfassung
The scientific objectives of the PheliNet network are to develop and apply MRI HP Helium-3 techniques for the diagnosis, the treatment monitoring, and the validation of novel drug therapy for lung diseases. The research acitivities will focus on clinical and pre-clinical MRI studies, on innovative instrumental and methodological developments in the field of MRI, and on the optimization of fundamental approaches and engineering techniques for the producation and the use of hyperpolarized...The scientific objectives of the PheliNet network are to develop and apply MRI HP Helium-3 techniques for the diagnosis, the treatment monitoring, and the validation of novel drug therapy for lung diseases. The research acitivities will focus on clinical and pre-clinical MRI studies, on innovative instrumental and methodological developments in the field of MRI, and on the optimization of fundamental approaches and engineering techniques for the producation and the use of hyperpolarized Helium-3.
The training and transfer of knowledge objectives of the PheliNet project are to provide fundamental and experimental experience to the recruited scientific fellows, and to permit the implementation of necessary collaborative research acitvities between the academic and industrial network partners working in the fields of physics, engineering, biology, and radiology.» weiterlesen» einklappen
