Both a Gaussian source model and a model based on the inside-outside cascade are used to fit to the experimental correlation function, giving transverse and longitudinal shape parameters, a freezeout time parameter, and a chaoticity parame- ter for the pion emitting source. We find a transverse source size consistent with the projectile radius except for a narrow rapidity window centered about the CM rapidity, where significantly larger transverse and lon- gitudinal sizes and a longer freezeout time are mea- sured suggesting a thermalized source. Calculation of freezeout energy densities and correlation lengths, a fit to a single-event correlation function, and compar- isons with other pion interferometry experiments are presented.» weiterlesen» einklappen
