Our tool aims to provide personalized and timely feedback for formative assessment, which is critical for self-directed learning. Over five months (09/2022-01/2023), we tested and evaluated the prototype tool in a computer science course with students. The positive results suggest that the tool can support educators teaching novice STEM students. We discuss our approach from technological, learning, and teaching perspectives. It is suitable for semester use but not to replace educators. The proposed tool can help address infrastructure issues and difficulties in creating automated assessment tools in STEM education.» weiterlesen» einklappen
