Nine new species of Impatiens from Masoala Peninsula are described and illustrated (Impatiens scenarioi, I. ambanizanensis, I. salifii, I. nanatonaensis, I. tafononensis, I. nidus-apis, I. saolana, I. mamyi, and I. volatianae). Impatiens scenarioi belongs to subgenus Impatiens and is related to I. wohlhauseri and I. kuepferi, while the remaining species belong to subgenus Trimorphopetalum.
