The advertisement and release calls of the common toad (Bufo b. bufo) in the Fertö-Hanság Nemzeti Park (Hungary) were recorded and analysed. The advertisement calls are composed of a number of pulse groups, each of which comprises brief pulses with ascending amplitude plus a final tonal pulse.
