A new species of the Limnonectes kuhlii group of Asian Fanged Frogs is described. The new species had been regarded conspecific with L. khasianus from India but differs from this species and all other species of the group by a unique combination of morphological characters, including reduced toe webbing, medium size, moderately enlarged head in both males and females, head being wider than long, and dorsolateral and transverse postorbital dermal folds absent.
