Along with new operational and technical requirements the system?s user interface needs to be adapted. The Institute for Innovative Informatic?s Applications i3A of the University of Applied Sciences in Trier provided the user interface design. - This case study illustrates an application of the DATech Usability Guideline in developing a user interface and assuring its usability as well. Though denoted as test procedure, the implied DATech methodology fits also well with the needs of a design project. The first design phase described here involves both developing usability requirements and realizing them in terms of a user interface solution proposal. Für den Satellitenbetreiber SES ASTRA in Luxemburg wird vom Institut für Innovative Informatik-Anwendungen i3A der Fachhochschule Trier die Benutzungsschnittstelle eines Systems zur Leistungsmessung von Kommunikationssatelliten entworfen. Wegen neuer Einsatzanforderungen, veralteter Hardware- und Softwaretechnologien und demzufolge anzupassender Nutzungsqualität soll das existierende System durch ein neues ersetzt werden. - Diese Fallstudie stellt die Anwendung der DATech-Prüfverfahren für die Entwicklung und Qualitätssicherung der Benutzungsschnittstelle vor.
