The methodology described here makes use of spatial process information from a soil hydrological map of Rhineland-Palatinate to determine the parameters of the LARSIM water balance model's soil module. Using predefined characteristic parameter maps, we ensure that spatial process representation is maintained in the subsequent calibration of the model. Spatial mapping of the catchment's runoff reaction is now much more differentiated. At the gauging site, a model performance similar to a homogeneous parameterization of the soil module is obtained. » weiterlesen» einklappen
