EXPERTISSUES is a Network of Excellence (NoE) and brings together 20 partners from 13 countries, including 9 of the EU member states. To achieve the objectives of the NoE and to create a long lasting structuring effect, an all range of ways of integrating and merging the diverse skills will be established. Some examples are:
Joint plan of research activities with some changes and adjustments on individual groups research directions→combat fragmentation and overlappings
Training for all partners in the state of the art of the individual scientific fields→Spread of Excellence
Mobility of personnel→Sharing of Know-How
Regular meetings to discuss options and directions, merging information coming from all the different scientific fields→Spread of Results
Establishment of a Common Quality Assurance System→Standardisation and Excellence
A strong and regular management activity→Integration, Coordination and Organisation
Creation of European post-graduation courses - Generation of "Hybrid Researchers"
Organization of workshops, seminars, courses and conferences→Dissemination of Knowledge
Launching a new TE journal and Edition of scientific books→Excellence of Bibliographic Support on TE
Conception of a shared electronic network with online information→Public Education
Ethical and technical inputs for the development of European Standards→Exploitation of Tissue Engineering Research
Jointly launch and reply to calls for proposals→Enhance research funding.
