In contrast to an individualistic notion of a ‘fullness of life’, the concept of a ‘fullness of life for all’ is aimed at community-building and the promotion of peace, equality, and social justice. While the mission of the ‘Son of Man’ has, without doubt, an eschatological dimension, it is also one of service and solidarity with the needy and the suffering.
