Kurzfassung

Peri-implant disease constitutes a challenging problem for maintenance of implant-based dental rehabilitations. Though, the effect of different bar designs on peri-implant tissue was not studied yet. Therefore, purpose of this study is an evaluation of plaque accumulation, peri-implant soft tissue conditions and pathologic bone loss in regard to the prosthetic attachment system of implant supported and bar-retained overdentures.
