The Imaging Core Facility is part of the newly established FZI at the Johannes Gutenberg University. FZI joins clinical departments and institutes of the Faculties of Biology and Medicine to study the basic principles of immunity and their deregulation in the pathogenesis of disease. One of the primary goals of the FZI is to improve immunointervention strategies for human diseases. To acheive this goal a cluster of immunolgy based and disease oriented Collaborative Research Centers, Postgraduate Training Programs, and Core Facilities have been established.
